Volleyball Game Preview: Edison Vikings vs. Franklin Yellowjackets + How To Watch

The Edison Vikings will face off against the Franklin Yellowjackets at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Edison is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering McNair just ended the team's four-match winning streak on Monday. They fell 3-1 to the Eagles.

Edison might've come up short, but they didn't make it easy on McNair: every set was decided by two points or less. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-23, 25-23, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Franklin also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Tokay by a score of 3-1. The loss continues a trend for the Yellowjackets in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost six in a row.

Franklin started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 13-25, 25-14, 25-7, 25-17.

Franklin's defeat dropped their record down to 8-19. As for Edison, their loss dropped their record down to 18-8.

Edison took their win against Franklin in their previous matchup back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Vikings since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
