            Kennedale's game  last Friday was a  loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Friday. They put the hurt on Dunbar with a sharp  48-22 victory. Kennedale hasn't had any issues with Dunbar recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive  win against them.

 Riley Bingham continued  his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 193 yards and four  touchdowns while picking up 9.2 yards per carry, and also picking up 35 receiving yards and one  TD. Those  193  rushing yards gave  him a new career-high.  Kyle Mayes got in on the action as well, converting a pick into a touchdown.
 Kennedale didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Dunbar to a completion percentage of just 33.3%. That dominant aerial defense primarily came from two players:  Landon Watkins and  Kevonte Johnson, who each logged one passes deflected. Kennedale wasn't nearly as limited: they posted one of 66.7%.
 Kennedale didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as  Trey Smith,  Bingham,  Zarrian Carliss,  and  Mayes picked up one apiece. Mayes got in on the action too, converting a pick  into a touchdown.
 Despite the loss, Dunbar still got an impressive performance from   Kamron Lloyd, who rushed for 125 yards. Lloyd is  crushing it when it comes to  rushing yards: he's   rushed for at least 125 every time he's  taken the field this season.
Kennedale's record now sits at 2-3. As for Dunbar, they now also have a losing record of 2-3.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming  matchups. After each having a week off, Kennedale and Castleberry will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another  at 7:30  p.m.  on October 10. The Wildcats will need to watch out since the Lions have now posted at least 31  points  every time they've taken the field this season. As for Dunbar, they will have a little extra prep time after the  loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Benbrook at 7:30  p.m.  on October 10. The Wildcats are facing the Bobcats at the right time seeing as the Bobcats are stuck on  a  three-game losing streak.
