Volleyball Recap: Sacred Heart Takes a Loss

Sacred Heart lost against Sidney back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Irish fell 3-1 to the Cowboys. The Irish have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-8, 22-25, 25-22.

Dorothy Crouse paced Sacred Heart's offense, picking up nine kills. Crouse got some help from Daycee Witt and her 17 assists.

Sacred Heart's loss dropped their record down to 13-13. As for Sidney, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-3.

Sacred Heart will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Johnson-Brock on the 21st. As for Sidney, they will welcome Hamburg at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
