 Enumclaw came tearing into  Tuesday's  contest with six straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.8 runs) and they left with even more momentum. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  5-3  win over the White River Hornets. This was payback for Enumclaw, who suffered  a  6-1  defeat the last time these two teams met.
  Alec Johnson looked comfortable as he  struck out eight batters over  3.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off   two  hits (and only one walk).
