Volleyball Recap: Sun Valley Takes a Loss

After flying high against Berry on Monday, Sun Valley came back down to earth. The Spartans took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Providence Panthers on Tuesday.

Sun Valley has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-7 record this season. As for Providence, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sun Valley will take on Charlotte Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Providence, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Metrolina Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on the 22nd.
