Volleyball Recap: Smoky Hill Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Smoky Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Arapahoe Warriors, falling 3-0. If the Buffaloes were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Warriors when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The final score came out to 25-8, 25-20, 25-18.

Hayden Kruger paced Smoky Hill's offense, picking up five kills. Kruger got some help from Anna Austin and her 12 assists. Austin was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Smoky Hill now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Arapahoe, their victory bumped their record up to 6-7.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Smoky Hill is set to take on their familiar foe Cherokee Trail at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Arapahoe will challenge rival Cherry Creek at 6:30 p.m. on the 8th.
