Basketball Game Preview: Carlisle Indians vs. Eaton Eagles

Carlisle is 2-7 against Eaton since February of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Carlisle Indians will look to defend their home court against the Eaton Eagles at 7:15 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Carlisle is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Ross on Saturday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Carlisle was dealt a 60-17 loss at the hands of Ross. The Indians were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-6.

Meanwhile, Eaton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 53-50 heartbreaker at the hands of Edgewood. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Eagles have suffered since January 27, 2024.

Eaton's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Carlisle, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-11.
