Shea Towns put up the most strikeouts she's had since back in February on Tuesday. She struck out nine batters over 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in seven consecutive appearances.
