Mt. Shasta has gone a perfect 10-0 against Modoc recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Mt. Shasta Bears will look to defend their home court against the Modoc Braves at 8:30 p.m. Modoc took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Mt. Shasta, who comes in off a win.

Mt. Shasta is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They claimed a resounding 79-32 win over Fall River. The Bears have beaten the Bulldogs the last eight times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Bulldogs has come to flipping the script.

Meanwhile, Modoc suffered their biggest loss since January 30, 2024 on Saturday. They had to suffer through a 78-42 loss at the hands of Weed. While losing is never fun, the Braves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 854th, while the Cougars are ranked 364th).

Mt. Shasta will need to focus on slowing down Adin Benson, one of several Modoc players who made an impact when they last played. He posted seven points and 11 boards. Benson has been hot recently, having posted nine or more rebounds the last three times he's played. Nate Gallardo was another key player, putting up eight points and six boards.

Mt. Shasta's victory bumped their record up to 16-10. As for Modoc, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-12.

Mt. Shasta was able to grind out a solid win over Modoc when the teams last played two weeks ago, winning 63-56. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Modoc's Chris Guasp, who went 8 of 16 to rack up 26 points. Now that he's got a second chance to win this matchup, will Mt. Shasta still be able to contain Guasp? There's only one way to find out.
