Soccer Recap: Sharpstown Takes a Loss

After soaring to four goals the game before, Sharpstown was a bit more limited in their contest on Thursday. They fell just short of the Waltrip Rams by a score of 1-0. Considering the last time the Apollos couldn't score was back in January, the team can't take the result too hard.

Sharpstown's defeat dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Waltrip, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-5 record this season.

Sharpstown didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 2-2 win against Galena Park on the 28th. As for Waltrip, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 5-0 victory against Carnegie Vanguard on the 1st.
