Baseball Game Preview: Redlands Terriers vs. Cajon Cowboys

The Redlands Terriers will head out on the road to take on the Cajon Cowboys at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Redlands' last matchup with Temescal Canyon could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Saturday. The Terriers lost 10-2 to the Titans. Terriers fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Titans since on Saturday.

Redlands East Valley hit Cajon with a four-run sixth inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Cowboys came up short against the Wildcats, falling 10-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Cowboys have suffered since April 17, 2024.

Redlands has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season. As for Cajon, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 15-6.

Redlands suffered a grim 12-5 defeat to Cajon in their previous matchup back in March. Can the Terriers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
