Basketball Recap: Salisbury Beats Carson for Their Third Straight Victory

Salisbury won the last time they faced Carson and things went their way on Friday too. The Salisbury Hornets strolled past the Carson Cougars with points to spare, taking the game 48-29. The victory was nothing new for the Hornets as they're now sitting on three straight.

When it comes to explaining why Carson lost, don't look at Emma Carpenter. Despite the final result, she posted six points and six rebounds. What's more, Carpenter also racked up two steals, the most she's had since back in January.

Salisbury's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Carson, their loss dropped their record down to 2-8.

Salisbury wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 55-38 defeat against East Rowan on the 28th. As for Carson, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 64-23 loss against Central Davidson on the 28th.
