Highland Hall had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Westmark on Tuesday. The Hawks blew past the Lions 3-0. The Hawks have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Lions, too.

Anna Guzman-Fuschs paced Highland Hall's offense, picking up seven kills. Guzman-Fuschs got some help from Anya Lisco and her six assists. Guzman-Fuschs was also solid from the service line: she led the team with eight aces.

Highland Hall's victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Coming up, Highland Hall will face off against Pilgrim at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Westmark, they will square off against Magnolia Science Academy 5 at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
