Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Glencoe). They enjoyed a cozy 94-77 victory over the Sardis Lions on Wednesday. Given the Yellowjackets' advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 99th, while the Lions are ranked 302nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The win made it two in a row for Glencoe and bumps their season record up to 17-5. As for Sardis, their loss dropped their record down to 7-15.

Glencoe has already played their next match, a 67-51 victory against Southside on the 17th. As for Sardis, they will challenge Coosa Christian at 7:00 p.m. on January 23rd.
