Beachwood's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They won by a set and slipped past the Trinity Trojans 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Bison have posted since September 14, 2024.

Beachwood was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The final score came out to 25-16, 23-25, 20-25, 25-13, 22-20.

Riley Dodds paced Beachwood's offense, picking up 16 kills. Dodds got some help from Casie B and her 37 assists. Dodds was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.

Beachwood's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Trinity, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-7.

Beachwood wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Brooklyn on the 16th. As for Trinity, they have also already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Fairview on the 16th.
