Basketball Game Preview: Ingleside Mustangs vs. King Brahmas

The Ingleside Mustangs will venture away from home to face off against the King Brahmas at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Ingleside has three straight victories, King has 38 straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Ingleside is headed into the contest having just posted their closest win since November 26, 2024 on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out Goliad 41-38.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 63-15, which was the final score in King's tilt against Corpus Christi Moody on Tuesday.

Ingleside's victory bumped their record up to 13-9. As for King, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-23.

Ingleside strolled past King in their previous meeting back in December of 2025 by a score of 27-11. Will the Mustangs repeat their success, or do the Brahmas have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
