Paschal entered their tilt with Wyatt on Wednesday with nine consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with ten. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Chaparrals an 18-0 shutout. The Panthers' pitching crew has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a run in their last six games.

Paschal pushed their record up to 14-8 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Wyatt, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 13 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-14-1 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Paschal will square off against rival Polytechnic at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Wyatt is set to face off against their familiar foe South Hills at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
