Bishop O'Dowd is a perfect 6-0 against San Leandro since June of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Dragons will head out to take on the Pirates at 5:30 p.m. Bishop O'Dowd will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

On Wednesday, Bishop O'Dowd was able to grind out a solid win over Berkeley, taking the game 3-1.

Meanwhile, San Leandro narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past St. Joseph Notre Dame 3-2. The Pirates haven't had any issues with the Pilots recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

San Leandro took St. Joseph Notre Dame into a fifth set where they got it done with a four-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 23-25, 21-25, 25-23, 15-11.

Bishop O'Dowd's record now sits at 16-5. As for San Leandro, their record is now 12-7.

Bishop O'Dowd was able to grind out a solid victory over San Leandro when the teams last played back in March, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Dragons since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
