The Grundy County/Newtown-Harris Panthers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They blew past Hale 73-18 on the road. That looming 73-18 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Grundy County/Newtown-Harris yet this season.
Grundy County/Newtown-Harris was led to victory by Molly Milazzo and Adysan Rains. Milazzo dropped a double-double on 19 points and 12 rebounds, while Rains scored 18 points along with seven assists and seven steals. That's the first time this season that Rains scored 15 or more points. Leeseah Fordyce was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with eight steals.
Grundy County/Newtown-Harris is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. As for Hale, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-1.
