Softball Recap: Alleghany Find Success

Alleghany took a ten-run loss the last time they faced off against Mount Airy, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Trojans had just enough and edged out the Granite Bears 9-8 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Trojans have posted since March 14, 2024.

The team relied heavily on Mckenzie Forsyth, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, two RBI, and one double. Those two RBI gave her a new career-high. Ava Busic was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one home run.
