Notre Dame's game on Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They came out on top against the Mercy Bears by a score of 6-1. The victory continues a trend for the Regents in their matchups with the Bears: they've now won four in a row.

Anya Shah spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on five hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 15 consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Kamille Beals, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was U'Ilani Wells, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI.
