Baseball Recap: Quinton Takes a Loss

Quinton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 17-4 to the Porum Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-3 last Thursday.

Quinton saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mikey Perez, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Quinton's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Porum, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-2.

Coincidentally, Quinton and Porum will both be playing Braggs the next time they take the field. Porum will host Braggs at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Quinton will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
