Volleyball Game Preview: King-Chavez Community Lions vs. School for Entrepreneurship & Technology Lions

King-Chavez Community will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on School for Entrepreneurship & Technology at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.

King-Chavez Community is coming home looking for redemption after taking a loss in their road opener. They came up short against High Tech CV on Tuesday, falling 3-0. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it seven in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-5, 25-5.

Meanwhile, everything went School for Entrepreneurship & Technology's way against Army-Navy on Tuesday as School for Entrepreneurship & Technology made off with a 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lions.

One reason for the win was School for Entrepreneurship & Technology's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-16, 25-13.

King-Chavez Community suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to School for Entrepreneurship & Technology when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can King-Chavez Community avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
