Randle dropped their record down to 18-13-3 on Thursday, which also ended the team's five-game streak of wins. They came up short against the Weiss Wolves, falling 21-7. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Lions have suffered since March 18th.

Ryan Gonzales was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaeden Humphrey, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

As for Weiss, the win (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 21-6-2. Their hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

On Weiss' side, Amari Maxwell was a standout: he got on base in four of his five plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Jessie Hernandez was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one double.

While Randle had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
