Meanwhile, everything went Fergus' way against Laurel on Friday as Fergus made off with a 56-34 win. The victory continues a trend for the Golden Eagles in their matchups with the Locomotives: they've now won three in a row.

Hardin's loss dropped their record down to 14-6. As for Fergus, their win bumped their record up to 10-11.

Hardin strolled past Fergus in their previous matchup back in January by a score of 43-28. Will Hardin repeat their success, or does Fergus have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
