 After flying high against Wardlaw Hartridge  last Monday, Perth Amboy Vo-Tech came back down to earth. The Perth Amboy Vo-Tech Patriots suffered a  tough 14-5 loss at the hands of the Dunellen Destroyers  on Friday. Perth Amboy Vo-Tech has not had much luck with Dunellen recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
 For Dunellen's part,  Ryan Hutchins made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He  struck out six batters over  five innings while giving up  three earned  (and one unearned) runs off   four  hits. Hutchins was also big at the plate,  scoring four  runs and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Mark Stein, who  went 4-for-5 with seven  RBI, two  runs,  and two  doubles. Another player making a difference was  Michael Dow, who  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 2-for-4.
 Perth Amboy Vo-Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
 Perth Amboy Vo-Tech will be playing in front of their home fans against Dunellen at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday. As for Dunellen, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  match,  a  13-1  loss vs. South Hunterdon on the 6th.
