Volleyball Game Preview: Northeast Guilford Rams vs. Eastern Guilford Wildcats

Northeast Guilford is 0-10 against Eastern Guilford since August of 2019 but things could change on Thursday. The Rams will challenge the Wildcats at 6:15 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Northeast Guilford came up short against Asheboro on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

While Northeast Guilford was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Asheboro's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-9, 25-13.

Meanwhile, Eastern Guilford lost 3-0 to Northern Guilford on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Nighthawks: they've now lost seven in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-3, 25-10, 25-6.

Eastern Guilford's loss dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Northeast Guilford, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-14.
