Basketball Recap: Wahpeton Find Success

Wahpeton won the last time they faced Four Winds/Minnewaukan and things went their way on Saturday too. The Wahpeton Huskies walked away with a 68-56 win over the Four Winds/Minnewaukan Indians.

The victory got Wahpeton back to even at 1-1. As for Four Winds/Minnewaukan, their loss ended a ten-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wahpeton will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Hillsboro/Central Valley at 3:00 p.m. on December 31st. Four Winds/Minnewaukan and Trinity will round out the year against one another at at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. Trinity will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Four Winds/Minnewaukan surely won't give up without a fight.
