Volleyball Game Preview: Davison Cardinals vs. Powers Catholic Chargers + How To Watch

Davison has gone 6-1 against Powers Catholic recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Cardinals are taking a road trip to take on the Chargers at 7:00 p.m. Davison will be looking to extend their current 16-game winning streak.

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last six times Davison and Lapeer have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Thursday. The Cardinals blew past the Lightning 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-17, 25-14.

Davison relied on the efforts of Daphne Darling, who had eight assists and six digs, and Berklee Stimson, who had 21 assists and five digs. Stimson is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last seven games she's played. Payton Beagle also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Powers Catholic not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 16th (when they won 3-0). They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Carman-Ainsworth.

Powers Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 15-10. As for Davison, their win bumped their record up to 16-1.

Davison was able to grind out a solid victory over Powers Catholic in their previous meeting back in September, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cardinals since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
