Softball Game Preview: Bartlett Hawks vs. Riverside-Brookfield Bulldogs

The Bartlett Hawks will head out to take on the Riverside-Brookfield Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Bartlett came out on top against Larkin on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run fifth inning. The Hawks walked away with a 9-5 win over the Royals. The Hawks haven't had any issues with the Royals recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Riverside-Brookfield entered their tilt with Glenbard East on Tuesday with six consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with seven. They blew past the Rams 10-3. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won 12 contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Riverside-Brookfield pushed their record up to 15-8 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for Bartlett, they now have a winning record of 10-9.
