Gibsonburg lost against Old Fort back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Golden Bears came up short against the Stockaders, falling 3-0. The Golden Bears' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

While Gibsonburg was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Old Fort's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-16, 27-25.

Gibsonburg's offense was headlined by Leah Hall and Riley Gressman, who picked up seven kills apiece. They got some help from Katie Hall and her 11 assists.

Old Fort was led to victory by Lucy King and Carly Fortney. King had 14 digs, three aces, and one block, while Fortney had ten digs. What's more, King also posted a 75% hitting percentage, which is the highest she's achieved since back in August.

Gibsonburg's defeat dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Old Fort, they pushed their record up to 12-2 with the win, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Gibsonburg will face off against rival Northwood at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Old Fort is set to square off against their familiar foe Calvert at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
