Baseball Recap: Tri Falls Short of North Decatur in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Tri can now relate to. They lost 13-0 to the North Decatur Chargers on Saturday. The Titans haven't had much luck with the Chargers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Tri saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Braiden Jackson, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base.

Tri's loss dropped their record down to 3-19-1. As for North Decatur, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-9.

Tri does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for North Decatur, they will face off against Knightstown at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Panthers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so the Chargers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
