Volleyball Recap: Green Run Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Green Run was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Princess Anne Cavaliers. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Cavaliers this season, with their most recent defeat being a 2-1 loss back in September.

Green Run started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 27-25, 25-18, 25-13.

Green Run's defeat dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Princess Anne, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Green Run is set to face off against their familiar foe Cox at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Princess Anne will square off against rival Landstown at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
