Roncalli is 2-8 against Valders since April of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Jets will take on the Vikings at 4:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Roncalli barely beat Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Jets never let the Blazers get on the board and left with a 10-0 win on Monday. The Jets not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since May 16, 2024 (when they won 13-3).

Ryan Cole made a splash no matter where he played. He tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Cole was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in two of his three plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs. Roncalli is undefeated when Cole posts two or more runs, but 4-7 otherwise.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Sawyer Van Drisse, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with four stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April. Aiden Jergenson also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.
Roncalli always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .567. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Valders waltzed into their contest on Monday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They put the hurt on the Falcons with a sharp 27-14 victory. The Vikings' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Carter Valleskey was incredible, getting on base in four of his seven plate appearances with four stolen bases, six RBI, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Cameron Scheffler, who got on base in five of his six plate appearances with five runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
With the win, Roncalli broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 9-7. As for Valders, their record now sits at 7-5.
