Northwest Christian has gone a perfect 7-0 against Bourgade Catholic recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Crusaders will be playing in front of their home fans against the Golden Eagles at 6:00 p.m. Northwest Christian will be strutting in after a win while Bourgade Catholic will be coming in after a defeat.

On Thursday, Northwest Christian earned a 3-1 victory over Gilbert Christian. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Crusaders.

Northwest Christian had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-22, 25-17, 25-18.

Lily Brumbaugh was nothing short of spectacular: she had 17 digs and four aces. That's the most digs she has posted since back in November of 2024.

Meanwhile, Bourgade Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against Payson, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-11, 25-8.

Bourgade Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Northwest Christian, their win bumped their record up to 16-5.

Everything went Northwest Christian's way against Bourgade Catholic when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as Northwest Christian made off with a 3-0 victory.
