Volleyball Recap: Lake View Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Lake View took on Lincoln Park on Saturday. The Wildcats fell just short of the Lions by a score of 2-1. The Wildcats have struggled against the Lions recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Lake View sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 18-25, 25-16.

Lake View's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Lincoln Park, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Lake View is set to square off against their familiar foe Schurz at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Lincoln Park will face off against rival North Grand at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
