With a playoff win on the line, Orangefield rose to the challenge on Friday. They had just enough and edged out the Diboll Lumberjacks 7-5. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on Thursday.

Raegan Valka looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two walks in ten consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Rylan Agerton was excellent, earning two RBI, one run, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Colton Michael, who earned two runs and two stolen bases.

The win made it two in a row for Orangefield and bumps their season record up to 23-6. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 5 runs in those games. As for Diboll, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 19-10-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Orangefield nor Diboll have any future games scheduled.
