Basketball Recap: East Jackson Comes Up Short

East Jackson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the Hart County Bulldogs, falling 58-36. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 444th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 152nd).

East Jackson's defeat dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Hart County, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East Jackson will head out to face off against Hebron Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hart County has already played their next contest (against Prince Avenue Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
