Baseball Game Preview: Kaneland Knights vs. Morris Redskins

For the second straight game, Kaneland will face off against Morris. The Knights will be playing in front of their home fans against the Redskins at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Kaneland 3.9, Morris 3.9) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Kaneland might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 6-1 to Morris, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Knights have struggled against the Redskins recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

The win was the fifth in a row for Morris, bringing their record up to 17-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.6 runs over those games. As for Kaneland, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-7.
