Basketball Recap: 12 Straight Home Wins for White River Valley

White River Valley had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 42.6 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Wednesday. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 71-25 victory over the Woodstock Wasps. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 69-18 two weeks ago.

White River Valley pushed their record up to 13-3 with the win, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.8 points over those games. As for Woodstock, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-13.

White River Valley will have a chance to go back-to-back against Woodstock: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
