Baseball Recap: Lynden Comes Up Short

Lynden fell victim to Anacortes and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 8-0 to the Seahawks. The Lions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Seahawks apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Lynden dropped their record down to 9-9 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Anacortes, the win was the 13th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-5.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Lynden will take on rival Lynden Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Anacortes is set to square off against their familiar foe Oak Harbor at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
