It's playoff time, and Abingdon had no trouble coming through when it counted. They didn't even let the Union Bears on the board on Tuesday, marking the Falcons' second-straight 14-0 shutout. Considering the Falcons have won 14 matchups by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The win (which was Abingdon's fourth in a row) raised their record to 20-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for Union, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-12.

As of now, neither Abingdon nor the Bears have any future games scheduled.
