Basketball Game Preview: Wakefield Bombers vs. Centre Cougars

Wakefield is a perfect 10-0 against Centre since January of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Wakefield Bombers will welcome the Centre Cougars at 6:00 p.m. Wakefield is coming into the game on a six-game losing streak.

On Friday, Wakefield lost to Goessel on the road by a 34-19 margin. The matchup marked the Bombers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, Centre played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 69-8 loss at the hands of Little River. The defeat continues a trend for the Cougars in their matchups with the Redskins: they've now lost six in a row.

Centre's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Wakefield, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-9.

Everything came up roses for Wakefield against Centre when the teams last played back in January, as the squad secured a 49-20 win. Will Wakefield repeat their success, or does Centre have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
