Basketball Recap: Graham Robinson Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Hudson

Land O' Lakes won the last time they faced Hudson and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Land O' Lakes Gators enjoyed a cozy 56-39 victory over the Hudson Cobras. Given the Gators' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 357th, while the Cobras are ranked 730th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Land O' Lakes' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Graham Robinson, who went 6 for 13 on his way to 12 points in addition to six boards and five steals. That's the most steals Robinson has posted since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Jacoby Davis, who posted eight points and ten rebounds.

Land O' Lakes smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 24 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 13 consecutive matchups.

Land O' Lakes' victory bumped their record up to 9-11. As for Hudson, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost 13 of their last 15 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-17 record this season.

As for Hudson, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 64-49 loss against Hernando on the 22nd.
