Softball Recap: Nevada Union Comes Up Short

The Nevada Union Miners came up short against the Bradshaw Christian Pride on Tuesday, falling 9-3. The Miners have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Nevada Union saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Shayla Vincent, who went 1-for-3 with one home run. That home run marked the first that Vincent has launched this season.

Nevada Union's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Bradshaw Christian, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Nevada Union will head out to take on Del Campo at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Miners' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Cougars have averaged an impressive 9.8 runs per game this season. As for Bradshaw Christian, they will take on Antelope at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
