Softball Recap: Thomas Jefferson Picks Up Fourth Straight Win on the Road

Thomas Jefferson won the last time they faced Belle Vernon and things went their way on Tuesday too. Thomas Jefferson walked away with a 9-6 win over Belle Vernon.

Aubrey Shaffer spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and five unearned) runs on eight hits.

On the hitting side, Thomas Jefferson got a massive performance out of Ali Chalovich, who went 3-for-4 with one home run and two doubles. The team also got some help courtesy of Addi Bracco, who went 3-for-4 with one home run and two runs.

Thomas Jefferson's victory was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 1-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.8 runs over those games. As for Belle Vernon, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
