Pine Ridge put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 7-6 W against the Mount Dora Hurricanes. That's more bragging rights for the Panthers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Cameron Schweit made a splash while hitting and pitching. He tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Schweit was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with one run.

In other batting news, Nathan Murrah was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Those two hits gave him a new career-high. Derek Rivera was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two RBI.

Pine Ridge's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Mount Dora, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Pine Ridge has already played their next game, a 6-0 defeat against Umatilla on the 12th. As for Mount Dora, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against South Lake on the 17th.
