Soccer Recap: Weir Takes a Loss

After soaring to four goals the game before, Weir was a bit more limited in their matchup on Saturday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wheeling Central Catholic Maroon Knights. The loss continues a trend for Weir in their meetings with Wheeling Central Catholic: they've now lost six in a row.

Weir's goal came courtesy of Caiden Lamp, who's now up to four this season.

Weir's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Wheeling Central Catholic, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Weir wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 5-0 win against Tyler on the 26th.
