Soccer Recap: Chula Vista Plays to a Tie

Chula Vista pushed their score to zero the last time they played Southwest SD, but on Tuesday they couldn't quite do it again. Neither the Chula Vista Spartans nor the Southwest SD Raiders could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked the Spartans' first draw of the season.

Chula Vista's draw gives them a new season record of 3-4-1. Meanwhile, Southwest SD's record is now 5-2-6.

When Chula Vista and Southwest SD next hit the pitch, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Chula Vista will try to stop San Diego's three-game winning streak when the meet at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Similarly, Southwest SD will square off against Mater Dei Catholic and their four-game winning streak at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
