            Football Recap: Bessemer City Yellow Jackets vs. Lincolnton Wolves        
        
		
        
        
            Bessemer City had lost three straight on the road, but  on Friday they dropped down to 1-6 to make it four. They took a  blow against the Lincolnton Wolves, falling  57-0. While losing is never fun, the Yellow Jackets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' North Carolina football rankings (they are ranked 349th, while the Wolves are ranked 96th).
As for Lincolnton, the  win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-1. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  points they've scored all season.
  Rashad Lynch produced another solid  performance throwing for 257 yards and three  touchdowns on only 12 passes, while also punching in one  score on the ground. What's more,  he racked up 149.3  passer rating, the most he's  had since back in October of 2024.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bessemer City will challenge Highland Tech at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. The Yellow Jackets will be up against the Rams' rather soft defense (which has allowed 55.83  points per  game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Lincolnton, they will take on Shelby at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. The Wolves will need to watch out since the Golden Lions have now posted at least 31  points  in their last four contests.
